About us
Brown’s is a family-run repair business with roots going back to 1945, when Tom Brown’s father began fixing instruments in Kilmarnock. The workshop was officially established in 1972, and Tom has continued the tradition, combining his background as a professional musician with decades of repair experience.
Specialising in woodwind and brass, Tom trained at Merton College of Musical Instrument Technology and now works alongside his daughter, Renee. Together, they offer expert, reliable repairs to musicians, schools, and ensembles across the UK.
Though based in Scotland, we proudly serve clients nationwide
